Privacy Policy

God Card is operated by Red Republic Comics (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use god-card.com and the God Card game portal, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address, a username, and a display name. Your password is handled by our authentication provider and is stored only as a salted hash — we never see it.
- Game content. Decks you build, cards you submit through the Card Suggestor, and friend connections you make are stored against your account.
- Technical information. Our hosting and database providers process standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, and timestamps, to deliver the service and protect it from abuse.
What we do not collect
We do not collect payment information — God Card is free to play and we do not currently sell anything. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and sign you in.
- To save your decks, suggestions, and friends so they follow you across devices.
- To send account email you ask for — confirming your address, resetting your password.
- To keep the service secure, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers to run God Card. They process data only on our instructions:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Netlify — website and application hosting.
Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the site — principally to keep you signed in between visits. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
Data retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete the personal information associated with it, except where we are required to keep records for legal reasons. Cards that were approved and added to the public card library may remain in the game, credited to your username.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to object to processing or to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. Contact us and we will help.
Children
God Card is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
